NH1 FIRST ALERT WEATHER WARNING: NH could see 1-4 inches of snow Friday morning

NH1 Chief Meteorologist -

CONCORD - The Granite State could be seeing more snow come Friday morning.

This morning's latest weather information is coming in more bullish with a wave of low pressure tracking up along a stalled front off the coast.

The snow will begin shortly before or around 7 a.m. and continue through the morning before ending in the afternoon.

There is currently a Winter Storm Watch in place. The snow is expected to be lighter in New Hampshire. There is the potential for 1-3" of snow to fall, with a few areas possibly seeing 4".

This will be enough for roads to become snow covered for Friday morning. The place mostly likely to see over 2"-4" of snow would be in SE NH, Rockingham County, and places east of Manchester.

The low will track Southeast of Nantucket Friday morning, but will be spreading in a steady swath of snow into New England.

The heaviest snow will fall in Southern New England, especially in eastern Massachusetts.
