NH1 FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Warm, but comfortable weekend
The weekend looks spectacular with comfortable humidity as dewpoints will be in the 40s and 50s. A large area of High Pressure will be shifting east from the Great Lakes through the weekend. This means we're in for lots of sunshine, comfortable levels of humidity with warm days and pleasant nights. Sea breezes will be forming at the coast to keep high temperatures there about 10-15 degrees cooler than inland locations.
Our Saturday starts out with lots of sunshine, but the higher elevations of southwestern NH and the Mt. Washington region will see a few fair weather puffy clouds popping up for the afternoon. A brief shower is possible as a result in the mountains. Otherwise plenty of sunshine dominates the day elsewhere with a couple of stray clouds dotting the sky as highs climb into the mid 80s. A SEerly breeze at the coast will keep temperatures in the upper 70s.
The sky will be mainly clear and comfortable overnight with lows in the 50s and some fog forming in the CT river valley late. Sunday plenty of sunshine continues as becomes just a bit hazy. Highs will generally be in the 80s, but a couple spots may touch 90 while the coastline stays in the upper 70s. Monday will see us climbing into upper 80s to near 90 again in the south while it begins to turn just a little bit on the muggy side. Clouds will be mixing in for the afternoon.
Tuesday and Wednesday looks to finally bring some much needed rainfall our way, but only as scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Now, this doesn't mean we're in for all day rains, but rather showers so some periods of sun will also be possible in between. Temperatures will be cooler, in the Low 80's.
