NH1 First Alert Weather: Seacoast under Coastal Flood Warning until noon

NH1 Chief Meteorologist - NH1.com

People on the Seacoast, take notice.

There's a Coastal Flood Warning until noon because of this huge storm off the Atlantic coast.

A widespread 3-6" snow fall is likely across New Hampshire starting Monday afternoon and lasting right through Monday night.

Last minute get out the vote rallies this evening will be a little harder to get to because of snow covered roads, and slower, slippery travel. Please use caution traveling this evening.

The snow will be ending by 3-4 a.m. Tuesday morning. Tuesday will start off with snow covered roads, and slippery travel for the morning commute, but I expect roads to be rapidly improving after the sun comes up.

Most highways should be in pretty good shape by 8 a.m. and secondary roads will improve by 9 a.m. Despite the slick early morning start, weather will not be an issue for voters.

Cloudy skies, lighter winds with highs near 28 degrees by the afternoon.
