NH1 First Alert Weather: Saturday the pick of the NH weekend
Saturday will be the better of the two weekend days weather-wise, before some cloudier and damp weather moves into the state for Sunday and Monday.
Expect lots of sunshine during the morning. Clouds will tend to increase and thicken a bit during the afternoon, filtering the sunshine from west to east. Lighter winds will allow a seabreeze to develop along the coast. Highs near the seacoast will be around 80 while inland locations will warm into the mid and even upper 80s.
An approaching system will bring mostly cloudy skies Saturday night. It will turn a bit more muggy overnight with lows in the 60s. Showers and even a thunderstorm can't be ruled out after midnight, especially in western and southern New Hampshire.
Sunday will feature more clouds, but some periods of hazy sunshine are likely at times. Showers and storms will be scattered throughout the region, so while a washout is not expected, there will be some wet times and some dry times. The highest chance of rain is in western and southern New Hampshire. High temperatures will generally be in the 70s to around 80.
Unsettled weather will continue into Monday. Showers and storms will be around, with temperatures in the 70s.
Improvement will follow for the rest of next week. Tuesday will be a transition day with increasing sunshine and highs approaching 80 inland, cooler at the coast.
Wednesday should be a delightful day with relatively low humidity, sunshine, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Heat and humidity will return for Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.
No major rain chances are in the forecast next week, but a couple of scattered storms can't be ruled out as the heat and humidity build into the region.
Have a great weekend!
