NH1 First Alert Weather for Sunday August 28

Source: NH1

High pressure will be heading towards Nova Scotia today and as it does so we'll see a more predominant southeasterly breeze over most of southeastern NH so those areas will be the coolest places today. It'll still be a nice comfortable day as sunshine mixes with afternoon clouds. Meanwhile, a very weak area of Low pressure will come out of the Great Lakes region and pass to the north of New England overnight. This will bring a few scattered showers so don't expect a whole lots of rain as many areas won't even see a drop. As this system passes by tomorrow morning the region will be a bit on the muggy side with partly sunny skies highs in the 80s.

Behind this weak system, more sunshine follows for Tuesday with a return to more comfortable conditions with highs still holding in the 80's. Another weak system moves through Wednesday with another possible shower and then it starts to cool down for the latter portion of the week. In fact, Friday morning starts off rather chilly with morning temperatures in the 40s to barely 50 degrees and only recovers to the low-mid 70s during the day.
