NH1 FIRST ALERT WEATHER: A quiet & pleasant stretch into midweek

As a cold front works off the coast for our Tuesday morning, High pressure will slowly build in from the west. This means we'll be getting a break from the high heat and humidity that will endure through Thursday. So for the next few days we'll be able to enjoy some nice comfortable air with temperatures in the 70s and 80s amidst a good deal of sunshine. The nights will be quite comfortable as well with some spots slipping back into the upper 40s by Wednesday morning.

As the High pressure system moves to the south and east of New England Thursday evening, we'll find ourselves getting back into the heat and humidity starting on Friday and lasting through the weekend with highs in low 90s. However, both Friday and Sunday afternoons will bring a threat Thunderstorms.
