NH1 Chief Meteorologist Clayton Stiver's Fall Foliage Update: Sept. 30, 2014

NH1 Chief Meteorologist - NH1.com

Widespread spectacular colors can be seen across the highest elevations of the White Mountains and much of the Great North Woods. The Upper Valley including Lebanon have climbed into the high category and will probably peak within a week. Colors are rapidly changing across the Merrimack Valley and Monadnock but we still have a couple weeks to go here til we reach peak. The Seacoast continues to show little color, which is typical this time of year, and it will still be about 3-4 weeks til we reach peak here. Some leaf drop has begun across a good chunk of the state, but the count is quite low and it's nothing that would have any negative impacts on foliage viewing tours.
