Cold air returns behind a cold front as high pressure moves across the region Thursday and Friday. This will lead to fair skies.
A few weak upper level disturbances will track through during the weekend possibly sparking some flurries or snow showers mainly across the Mountains, but for most, just some clouds.
High pressure moving south of NH for the start of next week brings more quiet weather with temps returning to seasonable levels 40 or above.

Thursday Night: Clearing skies, quite cold, lows either side of 0. Friday: Mostly sunny, highs 21-25. Saturday: Partly sunny, isolated flurry or snow shower Mountains, highs 30-34.
