NH1 7-Day Forecast For Sunday April 12, 2015

Source: NH1.com

Finally, a weekend that doesn't have any snow falling anywhere in the state! In fact, while it was quite a pleasant Saturday it will be even better and warmer finish to the weekend.

Something to also keep in mind with the beautiful stretch ahead that I bet you haven't thought of is the strength of the sun and getting a sun burn. That's right, I'm talking about using sunscreen this week if you are going to be outside for a while at your kids sports events or working in the yard because at this time of year the sun is just as strong as it is in late-August.

High pressure will build south of New England and then slide off the coast through Monday which will push some delightfully dry, warm springtime conditions our way that will actually mean our temperatures will end up being well above normal (55 Is Concord's daily average high right now) for a change! Temperatures will climb into the 60s for most of the state, except for Coos County where upper 50s will be the max. It will be even warmer Monday with some areas away from the coast likely to touch 70 in southern NH!

A cold front comes through with a few showers for Tuesday morning, but other than that most of the week looks nice with temperatures holding mostly in the 60s. I guess it's time to start thinking about yardwork again.

The next weather system will be developing Friday night/Saturday that currently looks like it bring a period of rain for Saturday, but that's a long way off and there's plenty of time for it to take on a bit of a different look for us. In the meantime, enjoy the week ahead!
