NH1 7-Day forecast for May 3, 2015

There’s finally a change in the weather pattern after 2 weeks of being stuck under a typical chilly early springtime block. Now, we’re in for a beautiful treat as warming trend is underway that will be taking us well into the 70s over the next several days and a few spots in the southern NH may even touch 80 Monday!
High pressure will be building off the mid-Atlantic coast later today ushering in warm southwesterly winds. A very weak disturbance will pass by for our Sunday afternoon that could trigger a spot sprinkle/very light and brief shower. Otherwise, the 7 Day forecast clearly shows a delightful stretch of weather for most of the week with above normal temperatures. Sea breezes will help to keep it a bit cooler at the beaches though. However, the warm dry conditions also mean that the Pollen season will go into full "Beast Mode" this week as everything will suddenly go into bloom at once.
SW winds will become breezy ahead of a weak cold front which will push through early Tuesday without much to it. There will be a threat of a shower or quick thundershower with it, but if you blink you will miss it! The best chance of showers with this front will come Tuesday afternoon across southern New England. Then, it’s right back into the sunshine for the midweek with building high pressure behind this front. Thus, Wednesday through Friday look incredibly nice. Soak it in New Hampshire!
Have a great weekend!
