NH worst in nation in tipping for a cup of coffee

New Hampshire is the worst state in the nation when it comes to tipping for a cup of coffee.

That's according to the Square Coffee Report on squareup.com, which has assembled an array of infographics comparing the most popular coffee drinks, their cost around the nation, peak purchase times as well as state-by-state tipping habits.

Neighboring Maine tips at 20 percent, Vermont and Massachusetts at 16 percent. New Hampshire -- at the bottom -- tips on average only 15 percent, the lower nationwide.

The state that hands out the biggest tips? North Dakota at 21 percent.
