NH woman lives through 108 year Cubs drought to see World Series victory

The Cubs have won the World Series, something many long time fans thought they would never hear. But for one NH woman the win was worth the lifetime of waiting.

108-year-old Hazel Nilson of Sunapee has lived through two World Wars, the Great Depression, and now finally her beloved Cubs winning the world series.

"I love the Cubs, never lose faith," Nilson said.

Nilson was born in Chicago in 1908 - the year the Cubs had last won the World Series, and from her assisted living facility she rode the highs and lows of game seven.
