NH woman cited for negligent operation after mailbox, utility pole damaged in crash
HUDSON — A mailbox and a utility pole along Wason Road were hit and damaged Tuesday evening.
Anne Speer, 38, of Hudson, was driving east on Wason Road at around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday when she drove off of the right side of the road and into a mailbox and utility pole, police said.
The mailbox and utility pole were both damaged as a result of being hit.
Speer was not wearing a seat belt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was cited for negligent operation.
Wason Road was reduced to one lane for about 45 minutes until the car was removed by a tow truck.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
