NH, Vermont holds meeting on whether to stock walleye at reservoir

LITTLETON, N.H. (AP) — Fish and game officials from New Hampshire and Vermont are holding a meeting to announce research results and a decision on whether they plan to stock walleye in Moore Reservoir.

The Moore Reservoir straddles the two states, with the communities of Littleton and Dalton on the New Hampshire side and Waterford and Concord on the Vermont side.

A proposal to introduce walleye to the reservoir was debated three years ago and officials decided more study was needed.

The meeting takes place at 6 p.m. at the Littleton Opera House on Union Street in Littleton.
