NH State Trooper stops by to chat and makes Campton preschoolers' day

CAMPTON - New Hampshire State Trooper Ron Taylor stopped by the Watermelon Seeds Preschool in Campton Friday morning.

Taylor spoke to the children about safety and the role of law enforcement.

According to one teacher, Taylor held their attention longer than any other activity that year.

A preschooler's parent wrote a Facebook note, and it is a really cute one.

Give it a read below:

"As a breath of fresh air in this crazy world, I can't thank Sergeant Ron Taylor enough for coming into my daughter's preschool class at Watermelon Seeds Preschool in Campton, NH, and speaking with an eager group of 4 and 5 year olds about safety - and how police officers are here to *help* people. The children were wide-eyed and excited - and according to the teachers, he captivated their attention longer than any other activity all year long!
He left a lasting impression on them and taught them how positive law enforcement really is.
I can't thank you enough for allowing him to do this. He made these children - our future! - a priority on a really busy day. I have no doubt that they will remember his talk for many years! "
