NH state Rep. hopeful gathering signatures to have Clinton placed behind bars


A New Hampshire man running for State Rep. in Hillsborough County wants to see more transparency in Washington, D.C.

25-year-old Derek Webb is collecting signatures to get presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton placed behind bars, despite what the FBI says.

“If it was you or I, we would be charged,” Webb said. “We’re American citizens. Everyone should be accountable for the law they break and violate.”

Webb has only collected a handful of signatures, but he’s also received some comments.

“Some hatred feedback,” Webb said. “People are Clinton supporters and don’t like it. ‘Oh you just want her prosecuted, you don’t care for her, you don’t like her.’”

Webb says, if nothing else, he hopes this gets the conversation going about other concerns he sees within the federal government.
