NH State Police warning residents about counterfeit oxycodone pills, overdose hazard

New Hampshire State Police are warning residents about counterfeit oxycodone pills that are pure fentanyl.

Police said during several drug investigations in Merrimack County authorities seized "large quantities" of tan-colored tablets with the marking M30 on them. M30 writing is usually found on 30 milligram oxycodone tablets, but those tablets are blue.

State Police had the pills tested at the state forensic lab and testing found that the pills had only fentanyl in them.

State Police are warning anyone who has bought the pills that they could lead to an overdose.
