NH State Police planning sobriety checkpoint in Bow this week
BOW — The New Hampshire State Police have announced plans for a sobriety checkpoint sometime this week.
The checkpoint will be in the town of Bow and will begin the week of May 15.
The checkpoint was authorized by the Merrimack County Superior Court and will be conducted under guidelines set by the N.H. Attorney General’s Office.
Police said the checkpoint is the most effective method of detecting an impaired driver.
