NH State Police participating in 'Driving To Save Lives Campaign'
CONCORD - N.H. State Police said they will be participating in the "Driving to Save Lives Campaign."
On Saturday, police said there will be extra partols along Interstate 95. Police said this effort is being coordinated by the Florida Highway Patrol and the "Driving to Save Lives Campian" stretches from Florida, along the Eastern Seaboard to Maine.
Police said the campaign is to increase highway safety and reduce fatal crashes. Police said they will be focusing on speeding, distracted drivers, impaired drivers and aggressive driving habits.
Police said this campaign is to help create safe traveling for residents and tourists
Police said in 2014 fatal crashes were reduced by more than 20%. Officials said this is one of the lowest years on record.
