NH's capital city celebrates 250th birthday

CONCORD - New Hampshire's capital city is celebrating a big milestone this weekend.

The city of Concord turns 250 years old this year.

NBA player Matt Bonner, a Concord native, played music for a large crowd Saturday evening at White Park.

"Where I've gotten in life is because of these people here and this city, so it's important to give back and throw a good party for the 250th birthday," Bonner said.

Other artists were planned to take the stage later at night.

Dozens of festivities were planned throughout the week.
