NH's 2nd medical marijuana cultivation center gets green light to operate in Manchester
CONCORD - New Hampshire health officials have given their approval for a second medical marijuana cultivation center to start operations in Manchester.
The conditional registration certificate goes to Temescal Wellness, which in addition to growing medical marijuana in Manchester, plans to open dispensaries in Dover and Lebanon.
The business must complete one growing cycle before the state will inspect and approve any dispensing locations.
If all goes as planned, Temescal should be cleared to dispense medical marijuana to qualified patients and caregivers in the spring of this year, state health officials said.
The state Department of Health and Human Services has already given its approval to Sanctuary ATC to start a cultivation center in Rochester.
More information about the state's Therapeutic Cannabis Program can be found on the department's website.
