NH ranked 10th in best states for drivers, according to study


CONCORD – New Hampshire is one of the best states in the nation for drivers, according to a new study by Bankrate.com.

The study measured time spent in cars on the commute, gas prices, cost of insurance and repairs.

New Hampshire was in the top 10 by scoring a “moderate” to “good” in all categories, except commuting.

According to the study, the average NH commuting time was 27 minutes, which came in 4th in the country.

Neighboring state Maine was 6th in the study and had the lowest rate of car thefts overall.
