NH Pumpkin Festival fetches nearly 35,000 visitors; Laconia plans to host again in 2016


LACONIA- The N.H. Pumpkin Festival proved to be a hit - although it was in a new location than past years.

While Laconia may not have set the world record for the most pumpkins lit, the turnout of people exceeded expectations.

Roughly 35,000 people attended the event.

Restaurants, shops and vendors stayed busy all day.

Although there are no exact numbers yet, Laconia is planning on hosting the Pumpkin Festival next year.
