NH public schools ranked in top-10 in US - here's where

Here's another thing Granite Staters can boast about.

A recent study has listed New Hampshire as having the sixth-best public school system in the United States. ranked each state’s public school system based on quality and safety.

Some of the factors researchers considered when determining quality included dropout rates, average SAT/ACT scores and student-teacher ratios. Incidents of bullying and youth incarceration rates were considered when ranking a school system's safety.

New England dominated the rankings as Massachusetts was ranked first, Connecticut third, Vermont fourth and Maine eighth.
