NH police searching for tractor trailer that hit trooper in cruiser then fled on I-89 in Warner

WARNER - Police are looking for the driver of a tractor trailer that hit an officer in his cruiser on Interstate 89.

A trooper was assisting another driver who went off the road when he was hit from behind by the tractor trailer.

The cruiser was thrown 283 feet, and the driver of the tractor trailer fled the scene, police said.

The trooper was transported to the Concord Hospital for minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle was reported to have a dark colored cab, possibly with a sleeper.

The trailer was reported to be a white box type trailer with a Canadian registration plate.
