NH police looking for suspect vehicle in Westmoreland hit-and-run accident
WESTMORELAND - State police are looking for a vehicle responsible for a hit-and-run accident that happened on Route 12 in Westmoreland around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Based on evidence found at the scene, troopers determined that the suspect vehicle was traveling north on Route 12 and crossed over into the south bound lane.
The vehicle then struck a mailbox at 987 Route 12, a metal delineator pole and also damaged a parked vehicle.
Located vehicle parts left at the scene suggest that the suspect vehicle is most likely a black colored 2001-2009 Volvo S60, that is now missing a driver's side rear view mirror along with a damaged front bumper, undercarraige and fog light.
