NH police ask public for info on who posted threatening letters on church

CHICHESTER - Police are asking for help from the public after some concerning letters surfaced in town.

Someone taped two letters to two churches on main street Sunday referencing the mass shootings in San Bernardino and Orlando, and saying a woman in town was planning to kill two Chichester police officers.

A postcard was also sent to a town store saying kids are not safe with Boy Scout leaders.

Similar letters referencing Chichester police also were found in Epsom.

Police took to Facebook saying they believe they know the suspect, but anyone who sees anything suspicious should call 911. The county attorney’s office has joined the investigation.
