NH police arrest wanted man after foot pursuit, search

MANCHESTER — A wanted man was arrested after a brief foot pursuit and search Friday.

Manchester police said Coty Bourke was wanted for violating his probation. Around 4:35 p.m., an officer approached Bourke near Catholic Medical Center to place him under arrest, but he fled on foot.

The officer pursued Bourke on foot easterly across the highway and down the riverbank where he lost sight of him.

Responding officers set up a perimeter and a K9 began to track Bourke.

Around 5:40 p.m., police located Bourke hiding along the riverbank in some thick brush.

He was taken into custody and charged with resisting detention, reckless conduct, and violation of probation.
