NH plow driver charged with DWI after pushing snow into road

HOOKSETT- A report of snow being plowed across a road led police to arrest a man for DWI Wednesday.

Hooksett police say at approximately 2:00 a.m. officers responded to the area of NHCars.net at 1118 Hooksett Road after receiving a complaint from the Hooksett Highway Department that snow was being plowed across the roadway by a private plow.

An officer located a plow truck in the area without registration plates that was moving snow. The officer spoke with the plow driver, David Lembo, 41, of Hooksett, and subsequently placed Lembo in custody.

Lembo is facing charges of DWI (subsequent offense), operating after revocation or suspension and operating an unregistered vehicle.

Lembo was transported back to the Hooksett Police Department where he refused to submit a breath test. Lembo was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 29, 2017.
