NH pilot, passenger rescued by private boat after crashing plane in Rindge

RINDGE - The FAA was on scene in Rindge on Wednesday after an experimental aircraft went down on Lake Mononac on Tuesday night.

The 57-year-old N.H. man who owned the seaplane and his 22-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

They were rescued by a private boat and did not have to be hospitalized.

Roughly 40 gallons of fuel was dumped into the lake and books were put in place to contain the spill.
