NH officials searching for woman who went missing while walking puppy

SANBORNTON - N.H. officials are asking for the public's help to find a woman who was last seen Sunday afternoon.

Police said Linda Tate was last seen when she went to take her 9-month-old Australian cattle dog "Maisie" for a walk at about 2:30 p.m. The search began Sunday night, and is continuing into Monday.

Tate is believed to be wearing clothes similar to the one in the picture below and Maisie has a silver training collar on and is black, brown, and silver.

N.H. Fish and Game, Sanbornton police, N.H. State Police, and the Sanbornton Fire Department have all joined the search, and they are planning to get another helicopter to come assist.

Officials said to expect a heavy presence in the Calef Hill and Burleigh Hill area, and to avoid the area.
