NH officials courting JetBlue to come to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

MANCHESTER - New Hampshire is the only state in New England that doesn't operate Jet Blue flights - but that could be changing soon.

JetBlue’s chief executive traveled to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport this week to hear a pitch from state officials to start air service here, according to the Union Leader.

Southwest Airlines handled nearly 60 percent of all Manchester airport passengers during the first half of 2016.

JetBlue is not ready to announce any decisions or changes at this point, but the idea to start service at Manchester has been in the works for years now.
