NH Navy SEAL William 'Blake' Marston remembered at Derryfield School
MANCHESTER - William "Blake" Marston, a N.H. Navy SEAL from Concord died during a routine parachute training exercise on Saturday.
An investigation into this incident is underway, according to Navy personnel.
Friends in the community said that Marston was a humble, gentle giant.
"It's like we lost a real life superhero and it just sucks," said Jonathan Farwell, friend of Marston.
Marston graduated from the Derryfield School in Manchester in 2001. He was a star baseball athlete in high school and college, where he played second base at Stonehill College in Massachusetts.
Jeff Hastings, Derryfield baseball coach, remembers Marston fondly and still has his jersey and looking for a way to memorialize him.
