NH native to dance another year in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as Rockette

BEDFORD – Dancers all over the world dream of performing the high kick on the streets of New York City as part of the elite Rockettes.

For one Bedford native, that dream came true.

Jessica Davison practices six hours a day and six days a week to prepare for this season’s upcoming Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

According to The Union Leader, Davison, who danced at the Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater, has been a Rockette since 2012.

Other than performing with some of the most idolized dancers, Davison is a former member of the Southern New Hampshire Dance Theatre and her parents are directors of the Bedford Youth Performing Company.

Davison has appeared in two Radio City Christmas Spectacular shows at the Radio City Music Hall in recent years and last year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This year, she will appear in the new production of “Snow.”
