NH man will face 6 years in jail after receiving gun in exchange for marijuana debt
CONCORD — A Manchester man was sentenced to 72 months in prison Tuesday after he was convicted of getting a firearm as payment for a marijuana debt owed to him in 2015.
Sheldon Grant, 35 of Manchester, received the gun despite being a convicted felon. The gun was stolen originally in Nashua, police said.
Police discovered the gun when investigating Grant during a domestic incident in Manchester in March 2016.
After the six years in prison, Grant will be on supervised release for five years.
