NH man suffers from life-threatening injuries after crashing snowmobile into tree

HEBRON — A Windham man sustained life-threatening injuries when his snowmobile collided with a tree.

New Hampshire Fish and Game responded to a collision in the town of Hebron Saturday. They discovered that Christopher Wilcox, 39, left the trail on his snowmobile, broke through a water bar, lost control and hit a tree.

The snow machine received substantial damage.

Emergency Personnel from both Hebron and Bridgewater Fire Departments responded to the scene where they extricated Wilcox from the trail.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation; however, it appears that traveling too fast for existing conditions was a contributing factor, Fish and Game said.
