NH man sentenced to 25 years in prison for child pornography charges
CONCORD — A New Hampshire man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Friday for producing child pornography.
Acting U.S. Attorney John J. Farley announced that Brian Powell, 34, of Salem will do hard time following his 2015 arrest.
According to court documents, an electronic service provider alerted the national center for missing and exploited children that an individual had uploaded a child pornography file to the ESP’s website. The file was ultimately traced back to the Powell’s residence in Salem.
Salem Police obtained a search warrant for Powell's residence and personal computer.
The collection allegedly included several videos of Powell persuading young females to engage in sexually explicit conduct, which the defendant then captured on video without their knowledge.
