NH man leads police on short chase in stolen van
HUDSON — Police were involved in a short car chase Friday that ended after the car collided with a home.
Hudson police said Antonio Velazquez, 19, of Hudson, was driving a stolen Chrysler van that contained a separately stolen motorcycle in the back when they attempted to stop him for speeding around 5:49 a.m.
Velazquez did not stop and sped through the intersection of Highland Street and Derry Road before colliding with a home on Baker Street.
Velazquez was seriously injured as a result of the collision and transported to a hospital in Boston.
Police charged Velazquez with felony reckless conduct and operation, receiving stolen property, driving without a license, disobeying an officer and speeding.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 22, 2017.
