NH man killed in hit-and-run crash in California


REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - A 58-year-old man from New Hampshire died in a hit-and-run crash after his car was clipped by another driver and rolled over into the center divide.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 1 p.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 101 after a Toyota Sienna clipped his car, a silver Scion. Police say they are looking for the driver who was apparently speeding, according to witnesses.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident and no other passengers were in the Scion. The victim was wearing a seatbelt but suffered major injuries. He died later at Stanford Hospital. Police have not released the man's name or address.
