NH man held on $25,000 bail after coming close to domestic violence victim

HUDSON — A New Hampshire man was arraigned after violating the terms of his house arrest and coming within close proximity of his victim of domestic violence.
On June 15, members of Hudson Police Legal Division arraigned Benjamin Nadeau, 42 of Hudson, on two counts of violation of domestic violence protection order.
Nadeau allegedly failed to reliquish a shotgun and ammunition as required by law. Bail was set and Nadeau was ordered to be on house arrest pending his next hearing.
On June 17, it was was reported to police that Nadeau had violated the terms of his house arrest and came within close proximity of his victim.
As a result of the investigation, Nadeau was arrested on one count of breach of bail and one count of violation of a domestic violence protection order.
Nadeau was arraigned on June 19 and the court set bail in the amount of $25,000 cash only.
