NH man faces attempted murder charges


ALFRED, Maine - 58-year-old Gregory Owens of Londonderry is facing attempted murder charges after he was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Saco, Maine home where he reportedly shot his wife and one other individual.

WCSH6.com reports that "Owens broke into Steve and Carol Chabot's home in Saco, Maine on Dec. 18 after his mistress in Wisconsin threatened to expose their affair. Owen's wife, Rachel, was staying at the home and police said he tried to kill her. She and Steve Chabot were both shot three times."

Bail has been set at $2 million after Owens appeared in court on Thursday, WCSH6.com reports.
