NH man arrested on warrant gets additional drug charges
MANCHESTER — A man being arrested on an outstanding warrant received additional charges when officers found drugs and paraphernalia on him Monday, police said.
Manchester police said around 1:45 p.m. they spotted Tyvon Watson, 20, walking down Cedar Street, and stopped to speak with him about his outstanding warrant.
After placing him in custody and searching his person, police found $1,100 cash, 0.6 grams of crack cocaine, 44.9 grams of marijuana, two cell phones and an electronic scale.
Watson was charged with possession of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. He was scheduled to appear in the Manchester district court Tuesday.
