NH man arrested on drug possession charge during unrelated investigation
CONCORD — A Concord man has been arrested after an unrelated investigation led to a drug bust.
Detectives working on a separate investigation found Christopher Ruggles, 44, alone in his hotel room and saw what was discovered to be methamphetamine in plain view in the room, police said.
A search warrant was issued and a search of the room resulted in police finding 5 grams of methamphetamine, $750 in cash along with scales and other items pointing to the sale of drugs.
Police charged Ruggles with possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute.
Ruggles was arraigned Thursday in Merrimack County Superior Court.
