NH man accused of selling powerful batch of heroin found not guilty
DOVER — A Gonic man who was accused of selling a powerful batch of heroin, which took the life of Rochester’s Jason Danner, was found not guilty by a jury Wednesday.
It took the jury two hours to determine the state did not have enough evidence to prove Joe Lee sold the drugs to Jennifer Harriman who then distributed them to Danner and his girlfriend on June 23, 2014.
Defense Attorney Thomas Reid said Lee has been in prison before and found success in drug court. That is why being charged years later with drug distribution was so emotionally difficult.
