NH man accused of ramming car after collision in Nashua
NASHUA — Police have arrested a man after he allegedly targeted a car that he had collided with moments earlier.
Just before 9 p.m. Thursday, police came upon the scene of an accident at the intersection of East Dunstable and Spit Brook roads.
An investigation found that Patrick Cairney, of Brookline, and another vehicle had collided. When the other car attempted to turn around, Cairney drove at the car hitting it again, police said.
Cairney was arrested and charged with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon which carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.
He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Nashua district court on Aug. 9.
