NH man accused of abusing young boy known to him to appear in court
CONCORD — Police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon that's accused of abusing a child known to him.
Bradley Mobbs, 27, of Concord, was arrested by Portsmouth Police in Portsmouth on Tuesday after the child complained of bodily injuries to his mother. He was transferred into Concord police custody for a warrant for the abuse.
An investigation found that the child, under the age of 13, may have been abused by Mobbs. Mobbs had been watching the alleged victim at the time the boys said the abuse occured.
The child was treated at a local hospital and was released and is currently at a safe location.
Mobbs has been charged with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. His bail is set at $5,000 and will be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
