NH Lottery to break $200 million scratch ticket sales record this year

The Associated Press

CONCORD (AP) — Officials say the New Hampshire Lottery is set to surpass $200 million in scratch ticket sales this fiscal year, the highest annual sales for instant tickets in the state lottery's 51-year history.

The lottery says since 2011, scratch ticket sales have climbed by $40 million, a more than 24-percent increase during that time period.

New Hampshire Lottery players can try their luck at more than 50 scratch ticket games, with tickets selling from $1 to $25, and prizes ranging from $500 to $1 million.

The lottery is holding a buy-one-get-one scratch ticket event to celebrate the milestone at its headquarters on Monday.
