NH launches website for online boater registration and safe boating classes

CONCORD - Boaters will be able to register and take safe boating classes and exams through a new online program of the N.H. State Police.

State police say the new boating education website allows anyone with an internet connection to visit the Boating Education program’s website, view upcoming course and exam dates, and ultimately register and pay online for their chosen class/exam. It will also allow users to search by zip code to find the course that is closest to them.

New Hampshire law requires anyone 16 years of age or older to have a valid safe boater education certificate whenever they are operating a boat with an engine greater than 25 horsepower on any of the State’s public waters.
