NH hospitals graded on sanitation, safety and more
CONCORD — A public hospital scoring service has graded New Hampshire's hospitals based on things like sanitation, safety, staff and more.
Thirteen hospitals across the state are are ranked, all given a "hospital safety score," with grades from A to F. Hospitals such as Portsmouth Regional, Wentworth Douglass, Frisbie Memorial, Dartmouth-Hitchcock, etc., received A's, while Exeter, Lakes Region General, Elliot, etc. were given C's.
If you're wondering how your hospital ranks and the reasons why, visit the Hospital Safety Score's website for further information.
The grading system is a public service provided by The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization that focuses on hospital quality.
