NH Food Bank seeks meat donations from hunters

CONCORD — New Hampshire Food Bank is collecting more than just canned goods this fall - they are also seeking the donation of wild game animals.
The "Hunt for the Hungry" program brought in more than 2,100 lbs of donated deer, moose and other game meat last year.
The meat will be distributed to over 400 food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and group homes according to NH Fish and Game.
For information on donating game you can call the NH Food Bank at (603) 669-9725, extension 245.
